Webshow project:

  • Dave want to post webshows ~30 min on some various topics.
  • Need film producer people to organize and some people to do the content demos.
  • June 20th (Sunday) is first meeting of it.
  • Come or email Dave on the meetup meeting

Finances:

  • Raised dues is doing ok, still need more members
  • 750/month income
  • about 1000 behind
  • $450 on misc eBay sales income helps bring us current
  • Hallwells/ Brain followup. email the interested after we schedule a demo about the brain.
  • should be receiving $100 stipend from that.
  • Ben will schedule some demos.
  • Can we raise money by creating/selling a product/app? Aaron will manage.
  • NY hackerspace used kickstart.com to raise money. Need a structured goal to post.

Internet:

  • cable modem 15down 2up
  • no problems with modem yet
  • Were hoping for fiber $400 10up 10down
  • Looking like local loop $650/mo plus internet bandwidth
  • Lco has several providers but issues with getting pulled between them.
  • Who owns the tunnels? Lco has peering.
